The shop is well stocked with not only the core elements of kits radios and engines but we also keep an extensive range of spare parts and accessories for Helicopters,Electric and Fuel Powered Cars,Aeroplanes & Boats.

 

Both Colin and Len are keen very active fliers in both helicopters and aircraft in fact they are the only family that can say that both father and son have been British National Helicopter Champions.  Colin is also a keen model car racer and is the Track Side shop at the Southend Indoor Electric Car Club on a Tuesday Evening in Benfleet.
He also runs the Track Side Shop at Carpet Wars which is the Biggest Indoor Event In the South.

Colin is a keen Modeller and has had a very successful competition career.He has been Hirobo European Helicopter Champion, 7 Times British National Helicopter Champion and has represented Great Britain many times in World and European Helicopter Championships.
 Placing 10th in 1993 in Switzerland (Still the Highest Placed British Pilot in a Helicopter World Championship)
In 1988 Colin Flew a 23cc Petrol Radio Controlled Scale Helicopter from a Full Size Helicopter Across the English Channel from Calais to Dover to Raise Money for the Children in Need Charity.This was as a result of being asked by a West Essex AeroModeller Stan Mcgee if he thought it was possible.It was Stans Brain Child and he asked if Colin would be interested! the rest as they say is history...........
Track Side Shop

This year for the Fifth  time COLIN BLISS MODELS is the on site Track side shop for the 8TH Carpet Wars  Race Series.This has been  great success and as a result we have increased the amount of specialist 1/10th Touring car parts and accessories.

Most tuesdays you can find Colin at the Southend Indoor Racing car Club where he is also the On Site Shop.
NEW AS FROM JUNE 2008 I WILL BE THE ON SITE TRACK SIDE SHOP ON A THURSDAY EVENING AT MARITIME RACEWAY
If anyone wolud like any specific item brought along give him a call.
This has become very popular amoung alot of Southend Fliers (it can save them a trip to Maldon)
